English Speaking Class in a Mathematics Program: Students’ Difficulties

This is a qualitative research with case study design which aimed to find out the students’ difficulties in speaking at Non-English Speaking Class Mathematics program UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The researchers selected three students who met criteria as participant by using criterion sampling. In collecting data, used an interview instrument. Thematic analysis was analyze data. result showed that faced some speaking, such lack of vocabulary, inhibition, mother-tongue use, and confidence. findings encouraged practice English more until they developed habit, made them able improve their skills also expanded vocabulary better.
